I bought Dragon Age Origins on PS3 at Best Buy, but the framerate problem is much more prominent than I had been led to believe (cough gamespot review ehem). I know that you can bring an opened game back for a replacement of the same game, but do you think I would be able to get the same game on 360 instead? The graphics aren't quite as good, but the smoother framerate would make all the difference to me. I just can't get immersed with all of this stutter.

I doubt it, but you might be able to talk to a place that sells used games. The used ps3 game market hasn't really been keeping up w/ demand so many stores are lacking ps3 copies of many games. You might be able to workout a straight-up trade w/ the manager if they are short on ps3 copies, and have a ton of 360.

Especially if there is a local one (cough not gamestop cough) that is privately owned. There is one by my house, and I frequently trade games for anime collections, or cash for rare games. You just have the find the right person, really.

I doubt it. The PS3 version is perfectly fine.

As long as it's the same exact game, I cannot imagine they would give you any trouble over it.

They only will exchange for the same exact SKU meaning the same title on the same console.

All he has to do is speak to the manager and he'll get what he wants.

if you make a big enough deal about it and have a decent reason why your bringing it back then you'll be fine. If its with-in 15 days I assume they do it no questions asked.

You might trade it in somewhere and pay the difference.

Regardless of where you go, though, you are still likely to get burned to some degree. I would just do like a lot of people said and take it back. Most of the peopel at Best Buy probably won't be curious enough to ruin your exchange, the more I think about it. :D

I never have tried this, so I'm not sure if it works... but if your going to trade it in for an unopened game, are you allowed to come back the next day, and trade that unopened game for your money, or another game? Doesn't really answer your question, but just trying to give something helpful.
