Do you think that Ocarina of Time is overrated?

It really irritates me when I here people say they don't like this game. Ocarina of Time is so epic, even after a decade of its release. It really bothers me when people say that they don't think that this game is perfect, when they give upbefore even getting the Master Sword and become an adult. They just give up after the first couple kid temples.

I personally feel that it is the most revolutionary and greatest game ever to be created. I'm still waiting for that one game that blows everybody away. First came Mario, then Ocarina of Time, now Metal Gear Solid 4. I wonder how much longer it will be until the "next best game" will be released.

Just for the record; Every great game and/or franchise is called overrated. And, it's only called overrated, by the haters. NEVER by any real critic or experienced gamer.

Nope not at all. After all it is the first Zelda in 3D. Amazing story, great weapons, dungeons and bosses. Its the kind of game where you had to be there at the time it came out to understand why its so good, IMO.

These kind of threads come up every single week, search a bit before you make a new topic, I beg you. As for the topic, no, I don't think it is, check one of the other threads to see why.

Great game, it deserves to be remembed as a legendary game but its the the god of video games.

Great Game, Close to Perfect.

To be honest, I think Majora's Mask holds up slightly better than OoT does today. However, OoT still plays incredibly well and, in my opinion, stands as one of the most important video games ever. Certainly not overrated.

Without a doubt one of the most solid titles ever to grace the 64; Ocarina of Time was an excellent adventure game. It had almost no flaws and generally proved how far the Nintendo 64 could go. Would I say it is 'The Greatest Game Ever and Nobody Can Ever Compare any Game to it'? No; there are other good games, some I liked more than it; in fact I enjoyed Windwaker quitea bit more.I voted close to perfect; it's a little overrated; but not near so much as say; Halo.
