There is way less trash talking than last gen going on. Do you still talk trash? did you used to? whats going on are you guys turning into girl gamers now?

No. There's no point. I'll trash talk when I know no one will hear me except those in the house (BLOPS on my DS for example), or if I'm playing against a family member and we're both verbally jabbing as we play.

Once went up against such a girl at a gaming convention, my heart still shatters at the very thought of the things she said while owning me in Quake.

And nah, I don't get any enjoyment from trash talking so I do it very, very rarely.

I don't and never will, cause I am a decent human being.

No, I'm that guy that never says anything, or maybe a compliment on your skill at the end. I always do it at the very end and then leave. Of course, I am helping, but I won't brag and will continue to not brag. I'd much rather focus on helping my team.

Anyways back the days of cod4 team tac (before the days of xbl party chat) my friends and I occassionally enjoyed a spot of wind up merchanting :p One of our finest hours involved a thirty year+ old adult yelling at us (who were a bunch of quite clearly trolling teenagers) and waking up his baby. Which resulted in his wife yelling at him, him yelling back...us cracking up. Also stuff like "how quickly can we get the American to say 'you would be speaking German now if it wasn't for us'" (pro tip: Our actual British accents were good for this, but even better was a comedically bad French accent).

I'd never just generally be like "omg you guys suck" though, and I hasten to add our trolling was always in response to a generic trash talker, we'd rarely just join the lobby and start screaming down the mic.

Never. I don't bother with voice communication online unless it's with friends. It's not worth it for me. Out of the thousands of people I've probably played with online, I've encountered maybe 5-6 people willing to have a normal conversation and not throw random insults.

Not anymore because I get too carried away when I do it and don't know where to draw the line. When it gets to the point of racial slurs and family members you know you've gone too far.
