All of the video game instruction manual that I've have seen have 2 or 3 blank pages at the back for you to write any thing down. Do you ever use these pages or just leave them blank. I've never use these pages at all for any game I've owned.

Yes I write down the cheat codes for those games that have them. That is one of the reasons I like manuals, Easy access to write stuff down. Codes and/or remembering where stuff is in the game. Passwords when games had them.
nope.
but its not because i want to keep it clean or w/e.
ive just never thought to write codes in the booklet.
I did use them during the NES days when I wanted to write down important cheats or passwords (and I would definitely be neat about it)
used to find it funny when I'd rent games from the video store and the manuals would have hastily scribbled codes for the games on the notes section in the manual. I dont think I've ever written in a manual.AllicrombieSometimes I would find some crazy stuff written in those manuals. lol As for myself, I use them when I know I'm going to put the game down for quite a while. I'll write what is going on in the story and to draw maps and what not.
never.
to be honest, I'm quite anal and ocd about the condition of my games, including the artwork and manuals.
I bargain hunt forrare games, but if there are markings or writing on them, even the manuals, I will always end up replacing them so that the item is clean.
I realize that section of the manual was DESIGNED for people to write in, but for me, writing in the manual is the same as:
I don't use them anymore, but I generally used them for save codes...you know xnxup-p2jch-ufhcg-001ac

yeah, and then you're like.....
"dammit, was that a zero or the letter O? is that the number one, or a lower cased "L"? ARRRRGGGGHHHHH!!!!!! :P
never.

I realize that section of the manual was DESIGNED for people to write in, but for me, writing in the manual is the same as:
- writing "property of Billy Vandenmeyer" in black marker on the cartridge
- placing a "bob's video hut" sticker over top of the cart label (instead of anywhere else on the cart!)
- clipping out the "proof of purchase" so you can enter a contest you won't win
- using the stickers that came with a game ON said game and it's manual (like my first copy of Magic Knight RayEarth)

I feel the same way. I hate that some of my games have gamestop boxes and big yellow stickers all over them. The thing I hate the most is that my gamestop got rid of all the boxes for ps2 games, so my copy of ZOE is just in a paper sleeve. Also, who the hell puts a please rewind sticker on the back of a NES cart. O_o
Yes on them, I use writing my scores reached or some advices for overcome a nasty or long puzzle i previously beated to ease my second playtrough
