Yeah I remember it, I still have it for my PS2. I was just recently thinking about playing it again, I'm going to do that sometimesoon.
I don't have it but I played the demo. It's not a very old game so most people will remember it. Flashback or Out of This World might be ones that people might not remember.
How could anyone forget such great games is beyond me.I don't have it but I played the demo. It's not a very old game so most people will remember it. Flashback or Out of This World might be ones that people might not remember.

I'm one of the poeple who played Flashback as a child and when I played Fade to Black it triggered the memory of Flashback, but not the name of the game, I wonder why........... Controls were rubbish, graphics were rubbish, cutscenes were rubbish quality, it was a bad game even for PlayStation standards compared to other games released at that time. Mind you, I'm not saying I wouldn't give it another go after all these years if someone gave me it.[QUOTE="Black_Knight_00"] How could anyone forget such great games is beyond me.Black_Knight_00
Ahh, yes, Freedom Fighters. Easily one of the best Third-Person Shooters I have ever played.
Ironically, I actually was starting to play through the game again last weekend.
a different game comes to my mind. and its Freedom Force. the super hero themed tactical game. :P. i havent played Freedom Fighters, thats why.

Conrad handled like a living tank, meaning he made the early Lara Croft look like the prince of persia. He also couldn't decently fire his gun (you had to stand still and aim to fire and enemies would savage you in the meantime) and the jumping animation made me think my playstation was broken and skipping frames. The sound effects were ripped straight from an Atari game... A bad one. Most enemies killed you upon contact and every time you died you had to sit through a sloppy, gory, unskippable 15 seconds CGI animation. Remember all that? I'm trying to forget lol[QUOTE="Black_Knight_00"][QUOTE="liquidzero123"] I'll tell you why. You might have played them as a child and remembered the gameplay, but forgot the names. I couldn't forget it. One of the best tactical shooters ever, because it managed to balance tactical gameplay with white knuckle action. Sometimes I'll be playing through the game again, finding much better strategies and routes to attack the enemy. Kickass game.

It was awesome. It was one of my first Ps2 games and introduced me to the Third Person gaming world. Cheats were super fun. Especially turning invisible and then killing your enimes from behind. Good times.
Now if only they could remake it with impressive visuals, outstanding combat, and great Multiplayer. That would be Super-cool.
Yea, I also loved this game and wish a sequel would come out. The ai was actually smart on both the enemy side and for your friendly ai. I mean controlling like 12 friendly ai and having no trouble doing that? That is pretty commendable and many modern games cannot achieve this.
Freedom Fighters was boss!
I loved that game so much.
Oh and for those wanting a aequel, Kane & Lynch is considered a spiritual sequal by the developer as they are both from the same developer.

A spiritual successor usually emulates the style of the first game as Bioshock was a spiritual successor for System Shock 2. Kane & Lynch as one for Freedom Fighters? I don't buy it. I'm not arguing that some people consider it that, but not to me.Cookigaki was thinking of Sonic the hedgehog: Freedom fighters TV Show. Cookigaki was like, "YES! COOKIGAKI REMEMBER THAT SHOW"CookigakiWhy did Cookigaki type his username three times in Cookigaki's post?
I just bought it a couple months ago, sweet game, only wish there were more multiplayer maps. Hoping there's a sequel.
Ow Man...what a game indeed! Loved it in every respect. Great music (JESPER KYD - the one who did it for HITMAN series), great gameplay, third person, great story and great characters. What more do you want. When My friend told me about this game, he asked me,"Have you played Freedom Fighters?". I thought it must be another war game on some world war. He insisted, I installed and started the game, and my God, how I got glued to my computer right from the start. Just 5 words, "Play it if you haven't".
