No, in real life I don't have any 'hardcore' gamer friends, which really sucks imo. I have a couple friends at work who are casual gamers, as is my brother, but other then that I don't really know any other 'hardcore' gamers besides myself..........And for 'hardcore' gamers, I'm referring to people who collect games, play games a lot, use the forums daily, and in general have an obsession about gaming since they were 5 years old.

Most of my friends play video games, and talk about games a lot, but i'm not sure if they are "hardcore gamers". My one close friend that i mentioned is addicted I guess.

My little brother plays more games than I do and is a much better gamer than me (GRRR!) but he doesn't go forum crazy either. I think we need to just focus on the definition of hardcore gamer to actually gaming and not posting on forums that are gaming-related.
To my knowledge, none of my friends go on forums, but a guy I work with plays his 360 and downloads new demos and stuff like that. More of a gamer than I am, but I don't think anybody would consider him "hardcore."

Pretty much all my friends are gamers.. I worked at GameStop for a long time and I still keep in touch with everyone I worked with. And 3/4 of the people I know play WoW. I date gamers exclusively, too:P

Well, according to bungie you have a 0.54KD ratio on ranked and 0.64KD on social lists on Halo3 (come on man, even I have better stats, and I totally utterly completely suck at Halo!!!)... if your friends can't hold their own against you.. they must be really really bad at it....
but I don't think going through forums and all related forum stuff is hardcore... it's just way to much free time... or like me, you're posting from the office, because you know, what else am I gonna do? work? :lol:
