I LOVE video game music! I made a huge list of games/series with music I like in another thread here.
Never heard of this Ocremix place, though. Does it only have NES music? Or does it have more than that?
Basically it has a bunch of remixed video game music uploaded by variousartists for all the systems that have ever been out. There are some really good ones in the bunch but they are hard to find. If you want help with finding a couple to get you started, I could point you in the right direction. I just happen to find the NES music the best because I'm so awed that these musicianstransformed that 8-bit music into a work of art.I LOVE video game music! Love VG Music, and I've found a lot of gold on OCRemix. Especially Atonement, But The Future Refused To Change, Seized With Fury, and The Winds Of Inishmore. They're all amazing.
I love VGM but I just listen to the originals.Nifty_SharkSame here. For most games, the original music is great, plus it brings up thoughts of playing the game.

I listen to music from the Silent Hill games, composed by Akira Yamaoka. Without him composing the music, if there's ever another SH game it will never be the same.
video game music is the best, I loved the soundtracks in Jet SSet Radio Future and the banjo kazooie series
Most of my video game music mostly comes from my favorite JRPG franchise, Final Fantasy. Nobuo Uematsu is a musical genius.
I also listen to lots of renditions on electric guitar, like Contra, Duke Nukem and Double Dragon. I also listen to classic Castlevania tracks like Vampire Killer and Bloody Tears.
I'm an avid fan of VGM, it being my favorite music genre. Never heard of Ocremix, though. I'll check it out, thanks for pointing it out.
