DOES BLOOD and GORE MAKE A GAME COOL or GOOD

On the Mortal Kombat review one of the reason the editor stated was a draw back was that the gore was toned down. Why would this matter in the rating of a game does gameplay, innovation, and presentation mean nothing these days. Take the blood and gore out of Gears of War is the game bad or God of War is it a bad game if the blood was taken out. Would you as gamers not play certain games if they did not contain blood and gore......respond.

DO CAPITAL LETTERS MAKE A THREAD TITLE COOL or GOOD?

I think the reason they brought it up is because gore and Mortal Kombat are like peanut butter and jelly.
