waiting for price drops is a good money-saving tactic. You shouldn't stop wanting a game just cause it's been out for a while.
That happens to me all the time. But I think its kind of a good thing. I mean if I decided in the end I didn't want the game, I'm happy I didn't buy it out of impulse.

I am the same, take Dead Space 2 for example. I was looking to get it when the game came out as I wanted the PS3 Extraction game. However I decided against getting it on launch and still have yet to get it to this day even when the game got cheaper. Some titles I regret getting when I have but other times I have waited and it has been perhaps the right call. That happens to me all the time. But I think its kind of a good thing. If I really, REALLY want a game, I pre-order it months in advance from Amazon, so the money is there by the time it comes out. For a lot of other games, I might be pretty interested in it, but with all the over-hyping, developer interviews and multitude of screenshots dribbled out each week, I'm usually sick of hearing about it by the time it actually comes out. I'm quite happy to wait until the price gets down to $20 - $30 before picking it up.
Lot of people on this site are still too young to get a job or are still in High School, so... On topic, happened to me a few times before I got a job, always annoyed me a bit.If I'm so hard up for cash that I need to save up for a video game, I imagine I shouldn't be spending money on video games in the first place.

Once you get a job you'll no longer have those worries. Well once you get a job, you'll be more matured and prefer buying more useful thingsOlimar_the_MinFirst step to the retirement home. No thanks
