Why dont they make a Dragonball GT game instead of remaking Dragonball Z all the time? Fighting as Super Saiyan 4 Gogeta would be sick.

Thoughts? Would you guys want this?

The only DB game I've played in recent years was DBZ Budokai Tenkaiichi 2, but it had some GT sagas at the end, complete with characters like SS4 Gogeta and Super 17. You just have to play through to get there. The problem with making a straight-up GT game was that GT wasn't as popular, plus there just wasn't as much content as a DBZ game.

because DBZ is the most popular, and well known of the 3, so they just name it DBZ, and ad DB, and DBGT characters into it...DBZ: Budokai 3, and all of the Tenkaiichi games have DBGT characters in it

Yeah, that's the reason right there. DBGT wasn't popular enough to make it a game all by itself. I'm not entirely sure what the seperation was between DBZ and DBGT with regards to popularity, but I found myself not getting so into it even though the characters were more mature and it was a later evolution. Maybe it was my age...

Because Dragonball Z was awesome compared too GT. and plus most of the newer DB games ahve all the characters from GT anyways or part of the story in them.

PS - SS4 Gogeta has been in them since Budokai 3

Dude how could you be into dragonball and not play the dragonball games?? I love DBZ BT2 to death and things its the best one out there. BT3 is busted even though it had some cool new additions. Budokai 3 is difficult to pull off combo's and special moves. BT2 really feels like fights from the cartoons and has awesome camera styles. I am sad that new dbz game Burst Limit or whatever is just a 2d fighter like budokai. Cant wait to see the next generation of a BT game.

Its because DBGT sucked. That and it wasn't ever aired on American television, they were all straight-to-DVD releases which greatly reduced the audience for the series.

Anyway, TC, if you're looking for a full-blown DBGT game there was one DBGT game made that I know of, that game being Dragonball GT: Final Bout for the PS1. The game used to be very rare but Atari made a re-release a few years back so I'd imagine its a lot easier to find now. That said I should warn you that the game sucks...a lot.

Like right before they stopped airing DBZ's lol. DBZ is like star trek, it should NEVER disappear from the air waves. Once they started the ball rolling with new bad guy = new power level that was the end of the cartoon. You cant keep doing that.
