So what games that come out between jan and april 2009 are you looking forward to/think will be successful? As for me I'm looking forward to RE5, SF4, Gundam musou 2, and fear 2
Even though it hasn't been confimed (has it?) and won't be out for a while, Gears of War 3. I can't tell you how much enjoyment I'm getting out of GeoW 2. Aside from that, RE5, Assassin's Creed 2....don't know if that's early though.

killzone 2 has caught my eye. every once in a long while, ill buy an fps. assuming nothing drastically changes my mind pretty soon, kz2 will likely be that fps.

Yeah Gears 2 is totally freakin' awesome isn't it. As for Gears 3 I say it's a pretty safe bet that it won't be out until fall of 2010.

yeah, gears 2 released 2 years i believe after the original, so gears 3 isn't likely until fall 2010 at the earliest...in that case, i think it would be in microsoft's best interest to just release gears 3 as a launch title for the next xbox...
as for my anticipated game for early 2009, it's safe to say that killzone 2, resident evil 5 and street fighter IV will all be day-one purchases for me...

If I had to guess Id say Chrismas 2010, its not a good idea to release it only a year later, in fact thats probably a terrible idea

I haven't even thought about whats coming out next year. Off the top of my head the only games I can think of are Resident Evil 5 and F.E.A.R 2. There are definitely other games but I'll deal with those once they get here.
