A half of all games developed this year would have qualified? Man.. that's great means good news for the upcoming titles in the next few years then :)

It's great for people who want to become game developers in Europe but don't want to travel to US/Canada/Japan etc.

A videogames funding programme was recently announced by the EU as well. Well, it's about time, used to be a time when Europe was home to the most innovative studios.

It's only gone from a hobbyist thing to a major entertainment medium in the last 20 years, so give them a chance. We still can't even rate games without contreversy.

It's only France at the moment. Hopefully Ireland will do it. We need a few developer studios here. There's enough college courses doing it
