I know some of you may be thinking not possible! But I think it is possible to own as many games as one person could need. With my collection nearing completion in my mind(i know new games will come out), I realize that I have enough games to get me "by" while I spend money on other things like college gear. But dont get me wrong I play games 3-4 hours a day still. But with over 100 different AAA quality games to play it almost seems smarter to revisit the games i own rather than buy a game that probably won't live up to my expectations

What do you think gamespot?

No I don't think I'd ever feel that I have enough games. While it's nice to replay games every now and then I still want to play and experience new games as well not to mention continue on with sequels to franchises that I enjoy.

I used to feel that way, then I finished school. Now I miss the days when I had nothing but free time for gaming! They are currently releasing quality games at a faster rate than any other time by far.

If you click on my profile you'll notice I have a ton (Around 200. Not all the games I own have been added.). And yet I'm 16 and not rich and I don't have a job. I still want more games, my want list is no where near complete.

I felt like that when I played MGS4 and GTAIV, now everything is kinda disappointing. RPG players have it good with hundreds of games with hundreds of hours of gameplay, it was full time just trying to complete a few of them. :p

I'm more of a quality over quantity type of gamer. I'd rather play 4 AAA games a year than 12 "okay" games.

Despite having over 500 games for the original Xbox, I still feel the addiction to collect every North American release.

I'm stocking up on games, and anything I can't play right now, I can play in the future when things aren't so great. So no, I don't guess I have too much. I can never seem to satisfy my thirst for DS games either. I don't know when I'll stop buying those. Nearing 100 now and will probably have 200 or more by next year. Pretty much quit buying PS3 games a few months ago, though I do plan on getting back into that. Got about 30 Wii games I want and maybe 20 or so PSP games.

Addiction's rule.

I never feel like I have enough game no matter how large my backlog is. This is why I tend to revisit old great titles for the PS2 that I have never bought or played before.

I actually have a list of the games I want, and it has been growing much faster that I can play and buy games.

This is because I'm going through a stage where i want several new titles, but have also been researching games to get when I rebuy a PS2(have found at least 20), and in addition there are over 10 Older DS games, 10 older GBA Games, 6 or 7 PSP games, countless older 360 games, Several Xbox games, a few gamecube games, and a bunch of ps1 games.

Sometimes I have too many games. In fact, there are some I'll be trading in that I haven't even played yet.

Some folks come home, eat, and veg in front of the tube.

Me? I've got castles to conquer, urban battles to wage, puzzles to solve, evil wizards to best, and some sweet rides to jack. It is the price of an active mind, I suppose, but I pay it down.

Anyhow, I keep enough new games on hand to prevent accidental boredom. And old, favored games that I have beaten stay on the hard drive - I keep them near like good friends.

Yeah. Sure, there are new games coming out that I want to play and that I'll probably buy, but I'm pretty content with what I have. And I have massive internal arguments with myself whenever I think about buying a game because, damn, when will I find the time to play it?

At this point I don't think I'll ever catch up with the giant, multi-generation backlog of games I own, so, yeah, I know exactly what you mean.

My habit of replaying games to get every ending has been pretty much dead for the past couple of years (I now sell "story" games once I beat them, Youtube is my friend) so I'd rather play new games than stick to old ones. The good ol' days when gaming was my main free time hobby are history.

I never have enough games. Maybe its because when I get bored of my games I trade them in and get new ones. I havent paid full price for a game for a while now. And considering Im always trading in, its strange I still maintain a collection of roughly 15-20 great games at one time. But no, you cant have enough games, although if I went into a shop now and bought 50 games, Id trade them all in next week for one reason. Id never get into them. Id try to play one game, and then wonder what another game is like. So I play that other game and I get a craving to try out another. And then I cant get into them. So when I buy games, they usually come one at a time.
