Howdy gamers, I had a bit of time on my hands so I thought I'd put a little something-something together in celebration of GTA V's imminent launch; Everything You Need to Know About Grand Theft Auto V. I would really appreciate your feedback on it, as well as your thoughts on the upcoming game. Do you think GTA V will live up to its hype?

A nice posting history you got there. Oh and plus:

I may have read it if I were able to close that annoying "Like my Facebook page" pop-up. Will it live up to its hype? That's hard to say- I imagine it will turn out similarly to GTAIV in that critics will love it, but the user base will find plenty to hate about it. My hopes are pretty high, and I enjoyed GTAIV, even though I think it was overrated by critics. GTA San Andreas is one of my favorite games of all time, so just the fact that they are returning to that setting has me very hyped. I trust Rockstar will make another high quality game, so for me I think it will live up to the hype.

Haha, thanks for reporting that. I've been wanting some criticism of my site for a while now, so your honesty is appreciated. I agree with you for the most part. The amount of hype that surrounded GTA IV was bigger than that of GTA V IMO, and in comparison to its hype, GTA IV was a bit underwhelming. Although I did enjoy the hell out of it. Spot on with the San Andreas call; that game is in my top 5. One thing's for sure, I can't wait to get my hands on it!

Nicely done!

I'm a bit hyped for V. Not nearly as I was for IV though, as I loved III but was really let down by IV. The characters sucked, the story was terrible, gunplay was cumbersome, the driving (while feeling more realistic) was not as fun, and there really was not much to do. But I think a lot of the reason for that was because R* had put all their energy into engineering the new engine. Now that's done and optimized, so I'm expecting a lot more in terms of polish and variety of content in this one. Plus they say they're trying to make the shooting like Max Payne 3 and the driving better, and their storytelling prowess has improved. I have faith, but my expectations are not sky-high.

Thanking you kindly! I' couldn't have put it better. The hype that surrounded IV was ridiculous. So much so that it hurt the game when it finally released (as it failed to live up to its hype). Here's hoping you're correct and Rockstar surprises us with a better game than we expect.

Very well done. Short and concise. I'd like to see more in the way of gameplay features in your coverage. There was a minor misspelling, but your stuff looks good. I'm pretty hyped about GTA V, after some of the upcoming PS3 titles, that will keep me plenty occupied until I move on.

Thanks Shellcase! I really appreciate the feedback. Could you please point it out to me? You and me both! This year looks like it may be the year of the PlayStation.

Haha, you're friends already think it's out Darkeroid? I don't know about GTA V being game of the year or generation just yet, especially with The Last of Us in the picture. Thoughts?

Yep. Some of their friends keep telling them that GTA V is out in USA and because Bangladesh is less developed games come about 2-3 months later.

That's not good at all. It would be hard dodging spoilers then, wouldn't it? PS just point your friends to my article, the first paragraph should clear things up ;)

I showed them the official post by rockstart themselves, they still wouldn't believe. Hell one guy just now posted that he had just finished downloading The Last Of Us.
