Have you ever regret buying a console? Have you bought it on launch day? Has it been good, bad, etc?

Just want to know :)

Somehow I regret buying a Wii. Was hyped when Nintendo launched it, later it mostly had crappy games although there were hidden gems.

But I don't regret buying my PS3, Gamecube and N64.

Only console I regretted was the Wii but it wasn't a big deal. Apart from that all of them have been great.

I can't say I've regretted any console I've bought.  I've always gotten some joy out of them or at least admired them in my collection.  Even things like the Jaguar... but I got that free, so it doesn't count.

I was pretty regretful of the Wii. Such a bad investment, can count the games on both hands that were worth playing. Only console I bought at launch was 360 (soon to have Xbox One to add to that list) and that's my favourite console ever.

How so? Do you mean all the DLC, online passes and micro transactions?

I must admit, I too, had my share of buyer's remorse. I bought an Xbox 360 when I already own a PS3. Ended up playing only two AAA games and two indie. Once Live expired for me, I went back to my PS3. After a year or two I decided to sell it back to Gamestop. Not being a fanboy here, I'm just saying it wasn't for me.

I've never regretted a console or handheld and none of them has failed me so far, so i guess i'm fortunate
