You could of gotten the Devil May Cry pack. All 3 games for $29.99. Keeping that sealed will become more valuable.
Devil May Cry Pack!!!
I can only speak for myself, but i would NEVER buy this kind of item on eBay.
eBay being how it is, it seems to me that it would be pretty easy for a pirate to knock up a box and go over it with one of those shrink-wrapping machines before promoting it as 'a unique rare item'
Perhaps you should treat this as one of those things, y'know, like you get it out when friends are over and say 'Check this out'.
I don't think this error would be worth much to anyone. I mean it's not like comic books: My brother has a Spider-Man comic with a misprint on the front cover (part of his suit is colored like skin on his legs) and it's valued over $1,000.
well i ended up working at the mom and pop shop, never saw any reseal machines. and there is a game inside due to the rattling, the game has the inside insert/booklet. you can see from where the clips hold in place.
and if its a fake why would some mom and pop shop do it to 1 random game the tuck in the back.
and it resealed to a perfect factory state....
relax ppl im just sayin check it. dont have to get all defensive
Hate to tell you, but people are able to reseal games.BranKetraword! i could do this in about 2 minutes stickers intact and all shink wrapped and pretty. you got ripped.
you can not open the case to remove the cover, without ripping the stickers! mariokart64fanFAIL! Try again. It's actually quite easy if you have a small heat gun like what you would use to reseal the shrink wrap.
Just gotta ask this if it's still sealed how do you know if it has the game that it claims to have there is in there? You could have got an incorrectly labeled game.zenszulu
well how do you know FOR SURE what's inside ANY game case unless you open it?
kinda like the saying :If a tree falls in a forest and nobody is around to hear it, does it make a sound? LOL...... sometimes you just have to open a case to make sure its the correct game. if a factory can ship out a game w/o a cover, its possible the game inside is incorrect or blank too....... robots malfunction sometimes. now wouldnt that be hillarious! He opens the case and its a blank DVD........ LOL

You people don't think.
1)The only way it would be possible to "fake this" would be if you already had a sealed copy of DMC 3; that's the only way you'd be able to get the hologram sticker and tear-strip intact. And the heat would destroy the glue, so you wouldn't be able to get it "stuck on" again. And why, exactly, would you ruin a perfectly good sealed game to make this?
2)You can't duplicate the seal with a shrink-wrap machine. Factory games wrapped in cellophane, in a specific y-fold configiration that's easy to spot, not just regular plastic wrap. I have a lot of sealed games and I can tell from the pic that it was wrapped legitimately.
3)And assuming that you could somehow get past the above two points, why the hell would anyone go through this trouble ona cheap game like DMC 3? Especially a mom and pop store who is selling it assuming it'll be opened to play?

thank you. XD
I don't think I would of paid that much for an older game without the cover art, I mean its cool and all but still.
It may be worth something but thats a very low possibility.
I would just download the boxart cover from VG boxart/manuals website. Then play the game. It is highly unlikely that what you have is an actual mistake from Capcom. More like just someone with way to much time on their hands messing around. It is possible to painstalingly remove the factory seal from PS2 or a PS1 game without ruining it. I once did that, one time when I was high. In my younger days.
I would not have bought a mislabeled game. Stick it on E-Bay and see if some chump buys it....
