I just wanted to know if this glitch happened to you or, if you know that it's common. I was exploring the Wastes and moving twords Rivet City, and all of a sudden a building and some guy's torso had vanished. The Building was just floating windows and a door, and the person was floating arms and a floating head, I don't remember looking at his legs, but I'm assuming they were their. Pretty weird. Also this happened to me once before I was in the Anchorage Memorial, and the walls disappeared, but I quit came back and it was fine.

Probably nothing to worry about. Maybe the game couldn't read from the disc quickly enough (like pop-in). If that's the only issue you're having then you should be alright. Also, installing games to the harddrive usually help with these kids of problems.

It's no surprise, that game was filled with glitches. I don't think there was one play where I didn't see any weird ass body chunks spazing out on the floor or textures disappearing leaving me hunting for the invisible door in a poop brown room. I don't recall this glitch but I did encounter a pretty crazy glitch one time. I had just fought some raiders outside the super-duper mart then I went inside the building leaving their pitiful mangled body remains to rest, or so I thought. When I exited the building, all the raider pieces(guts, bloody mangled arms and legs, the kind of stuff you find in gorebags) were arranged back into a human shape and they were standing up! These bloody un-human figures gave me quite a scare, they didn't do anything but it was still pretty creepy.

The game does have glitches like that but few serious ones, just play through it...if a part of the game is glitched get away from that area for a minute and then go back and everything is normal.

Oh no the glitches aren't fatal errors or anything like that, they are just all over the place and sometimes quite entertaining.

Glitches are perferctly normal for fallout 3, atleast that was the case on my PS3. Everything went nuts at times, but i recommend you turn off the radio before fast travelling, and never fill fawkes up with too much equipment followed by an autosave. It rooted out most of the problems for me, those problems being similar to the xbox version.

Ya the disappearing glitvh was easily fixed by me leaving the area and coming back after a while or quiting and then loading up the game. But ususally it happened after about me playing for 2 and a half hours, last night I played for 3 hours, no glitches what so ever.

The glitches on the 360 are pretty minor compared to the other console version. I encountered one where the Raiders were frozen in mid air with their arms pointed straight out on the sides.
