Fallout 3 Bombs?

I was wondering out of pure curiosity, where are the bombs that the Chinese dropped in DC. Since D.C. is the capital of the US, it would br logical to bomb it but after the hours of walking around in the wasteland I have yet to find a sign of a place where a bomb fell.Megaton is an obvious place where a bomb dropped but that's the only one i can find. I might be doing it wrong and expecting more from a bombsite so does anyone know a possible place where a bomb was?

This will contain spoilers for the 3 people who haven't yet played this game :P In the game word it's been 200 years since the bombs fell so perhaps the environment (wind, erosion, etc.) have filled them in. The White House was completely destroyed and there is a bomb crater where it once stood.

ICBMs detonate miles above the ground so when they explode the maximum effect of the bombs power can be obtained. I can tell you where an unlaunched american ICBM is firstgo to the secondSatilite in the north west and you'll see a house. There is a door that leads down stairs to an underground complex make sure your lock pick skill is fairlyhigh as you'll need it to open the door another thing make sureyour comter skill is high as youneed that tohack the mainframe once done you'll see an option for the ICBM

Are you sure? I'm pretty sure I was in the white house in Fallout 3, or maybe it was something else.

You can access the White House utility tunnel, but that's all that remains of it.
