Im looking for a little advice from some folks who may have already purchased Fallout 3. This may seem like a silly question since this game has been getting such great reviews, however I typically dont enjoy RPG's. Im more of a fan of the FPS. I like action and dont enjoy spending the majority of my time solving puzzles, going from point A to point B to point C then back to point A searching for stuff and finding loot. I do like having the ability to upgrade my character and weapons but not so far as to make it the main purpose of the game I am playing. I realized FPS and RPG games are beginning to merge....I tried STALKER when it first was released and had a horrible experience. However most recently, I found alot of enjoyment in Bioshock and Dead Space.

Im typically someone who likes action packed FPS games... but do enjoy a bit of the RPG aspects thrown in with a good story to follow.

Whats your advise? Will I like Fallout 3 or will I hate it?

How can we know if you'll enjoy a game or not? We can tell you how good the game is or the reviews can say it's the best game this year, but if you never play it, how can you know? It's like telling my friend who never ate sushi before. If he never tries it, I can rave all day saying it's good and it would mean nothing.

We can't decide for you, man. You just have to try it yourself.

I rented Fallout 3 the other day. It's not an FPS, if your ok with that, get it. This is an actual game we are talking about. They built the game to give you much incentive to beat multiple time's. It would most likly be a very good investment to BUY the game. you shouldent be dissappointed.

From what it sounds like you like action rpgs...Fallout 3 is NOT a shooter...If you play it like you would play a game like cod 4 or halo you will most likely die. V.A.T.S is your best friend in this game. im not saying this is oblivion with guns cause i hate when people say that, but the rpg element is similar to that of oblivion, the conversation aspect is way mroe in depth though, imo. So all i can say is that watch some videos on this game read some reviews then make your decision. I dont want you to waste your money, so do some research first
