So i've come to the conclusion, as my own personal assumption (which I'll be okay with being wrong) is that the main quest is going to revolve around the commonwealth and it's involvement with Androids. Maybe choosing sides to help the androids in some sort of revolution? Or choose to help the creators in helping keep them enslaved?

Just thought that this could be very likely. I'm probably wrong though.

I just hope it's better than previous Bethesda Studio stories, which are just plain bad. For RPGs it should be a deal breaker, but Bethesda has such a unique style that lets it slide. I'm ok with this because it makes you build and create your own decisions, much as in the way you do in games like Monster Hunter.

I've never known anyone who plays Fallout 3 or Skyrim because they have strong complex stories. They stick with it because variety and exploration.

However with your character having full dialogue voice in FO4 they need to build on these past failings. Or it'll be noticeable in all the wrong ways.

I just want meaningful choices in the actual main quest line, unlike Fallout 3.

@RSM-HQ: I have strong faith in them this time around. It seems like they focused a lot on aspects of storytelling and voice acting.

@speedfreak48t5p: I rather liked fallout 3's black and white choice system. But I understand, with an evolving game industry, we need "deeper" choices. I personally always liked the "kill or don't kill" kind of choices.

Well having positive vibes is never a bad thing, for me it's a 'when played, will judge' mindset. I really wanted to like FO3 but found it boring to state the least. Third times the charm however, so roll on November :)

Prepare to be disappointed. Having good choices & consequences/reactivity means locking the players out of certain content.

Which directly goes against Beth's philosophy of...""any character can do and be anything they want, at any time"

It is either we will have complete freedom with a very simple story with a very very very anticlimatic last boss or we will be on rail with an epic story. Bethesda is more on the freedom side with a crappy simple story. As long as the last boss won't be a joke and so anticlimatic it will be ok.
