Fallout : New Vegas Xbox vs PS3 version ?

So i'm thinking of getting Fallout : New Vegas but unsure which version Ps3 or 360, I loved Fallout 3 but i've got it for the xbox, However i got RRoD'd and now it'll be a while before i get the 360, so should i get the PS3 version ? i need to know if there's any character carry over from fallout 3 (a la Mass Effect ) or any other benefits, this is ofcourse bearing in mind i've got fallout 3 saves, profile and dlc on the 360, anything that'll make the experience worth waiting for on the 360 ?
