Fall/Winter 2011, What is your gameplan?

I didn't even release how many big name games will be released within the next few months! Unfortunately, I am going to have to skip out on some of these major releases this Fall because I will not have enough time to play of the major game releases and I can not justify spending a ton of money on all of these games.

On top of it, I have a small back log of games from this summer and even last year (including Deus Ex which just released) that I really want to take time to enjoy and complete. Anyone else having this problem?

What games do you plan on getting this fall? What is you plan for the Fall releases?

Oct 4th - Dark Souls, Rage. NBA 2K12; Oct 11th - Forza Motorsport 4; Oct 18th - Batman: Arkham City;

Oct 25th - Battlefield 3, Silent Hill: Downpour

Nov 1th - Uncharted 3; Nov 8th - MW3, Metal Gear Solid HD Collection; Nov 11th - Skyrim

Nov 15th - Assassin's Creed: Revelations, Halo Combat Evovled Anniversary, Saint's Row 3, Rayman: Origins

Nov 20th - The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword

Thats a pretty big list of games for the Fall/Winter release!

Mygameplan is to get Battlefield 3, Rage and Skyrim.I think I'll spend most of my timeplaying Battlefield 3 multiplayer. I have really been looking foward to Rage for over a year now, and Skyrim looks to be very promising title with a lot of content. I really wish these release had been spaced out more throughout the year. There are even games released earlier this year that I eventually want to pick up and play through

i just bought Deus Ex and im def going to pick up Skyrim, Rage and Batman Arkham City

Will get Deus Ex on Friday, after that I'll definitely be getting Resistance 3 and Rage. Also MGS HD collection will come out on November the 8th, so I'll be picking that up too.

I am definitely getting Metal Gear Solid HD Collection. I am also deciding between MW3 and BF3. I have to see how BF3 plays on consoles first and if it isnt too different compared to the PC version I might get it. I might also get both though...

I am also keeping my eye on Uncharted 3 and Skyrim.

Getting Disgaea 4 soon, then Uncharted 3, Skyward Sword and Skyrim. That's all I need for the rest of the year.

Will get Deus Ex on Friday, after that I'll definitely be getting Resistance 3 and Rage. Also MGS HD collection will come out on November the 8th, so I'll be picking that up too.

You'll like Deus Ex, I have only played 2 hours of the game, but it really is solid so far. I will likely wait on Resistance 3 for awhile, but Rage will be amazing, I have always loved Id software

Getting Disgaea 4 soon, then Uncharted 3, Skyward Sword and Skyrim. That's all I need for the rest of the year.

I never got into the Disgaea series, but I know from friends that are really into it, Disgaea 4 will be a huge release for them.

Skyrim really looks promising, I can't wait. I bet I lose sleep playing that game.

there are so many games, I just don't know howI can find the time! Got Deus Ex, waiting for Gears and Batman, then it'll be a run through Uncharted and AC before I even think about other games I'm dying to play!

Unplayed games are stacking up around my house so I've resolved only to buy Mario Kart 7 as far as new games for the rest of the year. That and the twenty games I get for being a 3DS ambassodor are more than enough to keep me occupied for that long these days. And I have a dozen more games to work through on top of that. Started back gaming w/in the last year and am now playing crazy amounts of catchup!

I'm planning to get: Star Fox 64 3D, Mario Kart 7, Super Mario Land 3D, Zelda SS, COD:MW3, Halo CE Anniversary I want to get also, but its up in the air if I can afford it: Rage, Gears 3, Goldeneye Reloaded, WWE'12, MGS HD Collection, Resident Evil Raccoon City I'm looking to pick up some of the titles I may not be able to afford for a good price on black friday.darth-pyschosis

I'll likely check the black friday sales, to see if any of the big releases this fall I skipped are on sale. There is always a big name game on sale for $20 to $30.

Still, I don't think its a great idea to buy anymore games then Rage, battlefield 3 and skyrim, if I am not going to have the time to even play them. I still have a few older games I picked up this summer to get through, and I try to enjoy the game for what is offers, not rush through it to complete it. Deus Ex, Crysis 2,Split Secondand Forza 3 are all games I picked up this summer and have hardly made a dent into them.

Deux may have to wait until December, but if I can somehow pull it off, I may get it near the end of September.

I was not a huge fan of XII, and it really had nothing to do with the gameplay. I thought the controls were tight and the roster was balanced, but didn't like how light the game was on content. King of Fighters 98 for the dreamcast was my favorite in the series

I failed to mention one last game that I have paid off and that's Dead Island. The day that I pick up Dead Island, both Rage and KOF XIII will be paid off. Fun times ahead! :D

I've probably forgotten some releases I wanted. Plus there are a lot of games I need to catch up on from this year, last year, whenever. My backlog is sitting at 119 but I have no budget so that will just get worse!

Dark Souls, King of Fighters XIII, and Skyrim are my definite buys. I'd love to squeeze Uncharted 3 in there as well, if possible.Piroshki

I will watch Dark Sould to see how it does, that is another game I have some interest in as I loved the challenge of the first game in the series.

I am def buying Assassin's creed, Zelda, and the upcoming silent Hill games. (Downpour and Silent Hill HD Collection.) I am taking out some money from every paycheck I get and setting it aside for the releases!

I don't have exact dates, but I think this will get me through the end of the year.

DC, are you going to be picking up the limited edtion of Forza 4 on the first-day release? Would make more sense, since it has more cars available than the standard does.

I just wanted to add in my comments on XII. I agree with you, KOF XII was a game that disappointed me since its release on day one. The game had three bad aspects of the game; a lack of a good character roster, lack of gameplay modes, and the gameplay itself. Features like that hurt the overall package, making King Of Fighters XII probably one of the biggest disappointments in the series. Thankfully though, it looks like they are stepping things up big time with King Of Fighters XIII - the gameplay looks fast and frantic, the roster has incraesed and has some great names in there (including fan-favorite Mai, who was missing from King Of Fighters XII), and there's a lot more emphasis on modes and gameplay than before. It's like an apology letter of sorts to the fans with this one, so KOF XIII will surely be a day-one purchase for me and I hope it is for you too! :)

Dead Island is pre-ordered for September.

Rage is pre-ordered for October.

Skyrim is pre-ordered for November.

Think that'll keep me busy into 2012.

Sonic Generations, and that's it for the remainder of this year. Then early next year is Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Generations, and that'll be it for all of the upcoming games I'm looking forward to.

That's me trying to figure out which of the two or three out of two dozen games coming out to get. that's my gameplan :(GodModeEnabled

Choose the ones that will excite you the most and go from there! Of course, that's easier said than done when there are so many good ones coming!

Right now I'm going to be getting Torchlight 2 on PC. I'm going to hold off on most of the other releases until I get a better PC. But with a lack of cash, I think I'll be waiting a while. Oh well, Ive got enough of a backlog as it is. I have 23 single players still to finish. I think I'm set for a while.

Any other time of the year, this would be a pretty definitie buy, as it looks like they really have revamped things with King of Fighters XIII. But because of the major releases coming out, I will have to wait on it.

Going to play Mortal Kombat with 6 of my friends over the next couple of months,

going to be playing Deus EX: HR this Friday or Saturday when I get it in the mail.

Then comes RAGE, possibly Saint's Row the Tird.

I am playing Deus Ex now, I have really fallen in love with that game!

I am starting to get interested in dead island, but I really want to wait and see how the game does review wise, mainly to see if is worth picking up instead of another game in my current plan.
