I am thinking about getting a game in the Far Cry series in anticipation for Far Cry 2. I own a 360 and will be getting FC2 on it. Would you recommend getting the original FC for the PC, or getting FCIP for the 360?

Get the PC game. It was the original and best.

I've heard the other one is terrible and basically has you jumping around with mutant powers for the whole game. I don't even think its open world.

They're both great. The PC version is more open-ended and realistic while the xbox version is less so but in some ways more fun IMO.
