What's your favorite fighting game?

Like mortal kombat, tekken, street fighter, ect....
Mortal Kombat is my favorite fighting series because it's so brutal, has alot of characters and an interesting story.
My favorite fighting game has to be marvel vs capcom, that's an amazing game

growing up, my favorite fighting series was Street Fighter...now it's Soul Calibur

MORTAL KOMBAT!!!

I know a few friends that will disagree with me on this, but one of my all-time favorite fighters has to be Primal Rage. I just loved that game. The characters, the story, the gameplay, even the music. I thought it was a brillant game in itself, although it is broken and will never be taken seriously as a serious competitive fighter, so I understand that. But as a game of its own, I enjoyed it.

I've grown to like Soul Calibur. I don't understand anything of the story, but they make a good fighting game.

It's been said, but Marvel vs Capcom 2.

Marvel vs Capcom 2 for the original Xbox is the best fighter ever made. The original fighting trio, for me, includes: Cable, The Hulk, and Bone-Claw Wolverine.

Well normally Id say Mortal Kombat=Teeken, but the last Mortal Kombat game dissapointed me. Tekken wont...

I'm caught between Soul Calibur 4 and Street Fighter 3: 3rd Strike.

If Soul Calibur 2 were to become a downloadable game with online matchmaking, SC 4 would bite the dust.

After a few more additions, I think BlazBlue could surpass it.

SF4 for me, the game is just the type of fighter that appeals to me the most. SF series is my favorite in general, and I also like Soul Calibur, Dead or Alive, and King of Fighters (didn't like KoF12 though).

I'd say (in order):

1. Street Fighter IV (soon to be Super SFIV!!!) :D

2.Last Blade 2

3. Soul Calibur IV

4. BlazBlue

5. King of Fighters XI

Can't pick one. But if I had to it'd be Super Street Fighter IV.

I don't mean to say I didn't enjoy II, I just found some of the characters to be generic and lacking. SSI felt like an overall more complete game to me for some reason.

Virtua Fighter will always have special place in my heart.

But like an abused spouse that just filed for divorce, I'm starting to get over it.

At the moment, I'm enjoying BlazBlue most.
