1. Tecmo Super Bowl (NES/SNES) - no debate... best and most addictive football game ever.

2. Madden 2004 (Michael Vick on the cover)(GCN) - I don't know why but this Madden was my favorite. I played through 6 or 7 seasons and built a powerhouse Lions team. The difficulty was perfect at all levels.

3. Madden 2009 (PS3) - It may just be because I just got it and the novelty hasn't worn off, but this is a really fun game.

NFL Blitz for the playstation. I hate sports games...HATE them! But this game was so much fun to play that I didn't care. After this, football games became too realistic, too complicated, and too boring. However, if I could find this game again somewhere in the future, I'd buy it with no questions asked.

Madden 95(one of those Plug N Play things) was a lot of fun. I bought it a couple years ago. I also really like Madden 07(09 is all right) on the Wii. The controls are great and the gameplay is better imo.

Madden NFL 2006, the reason being the NFL Superstar Mode. I think this is the greatest addition to the Madden series in its history and the greatest feature for any football game.
