I am sure everyone here have their own personal favorite online and PC game (obviously!) I am thinking of playing something new this weekend so I wanna ask what is your favourite game and what makes that game interesting to you? I am currently playing WOW.

I've been playing WoW for a few years, the game has gotten boring after Burning Crusade. Things were better before the expansions. But in the past few days I'm slowly becoming more interested in the game again. Playing at least once a day so I can keep my characters leveling. I don't play it too much, I really hate how when people hear that I play WoW they immediately judge me and think I'm a nerd with no life. I play the game casually, it's fun, but I'm not addicted to it. Trust me, I'm not in denial, WoW is not a drug.

Right now my favorite game to play is Uncharted 2, best graphics on a console yet. It's really fun and has a great story.

Morrowind. For a shooter, probably Rogue Trooper; an awesome game that few have played, it seems.

I'm also playing WoW but if you haven't played Half-Life 2 it is simply a must.

I played it up to Ravenholm and it was okay, but I don't get what all of the fuss was about. Maybe I need to play some more of the game.

If you can't get into the story, then perhaps the game isn't for you.

Have you played the first Half-Life?

The Thief series is my favorite of all time and always will be. It now has a cult-following with a number of "underground", so to speak, web sites that I respectfully advertise in my union which consist of fan-made missions and Thief multiplayer games built off the Unreal Engine.

Thief revolutionized the Stealth/Action genre. It brought us one of our first 3D stealth games along side of Tenchu on the original Playstation. Thief however, brought along the first, and IMO, the greatest technical innovation in the Stealth genre. Usable Shadows. Before Thief, stealth games normally were based on the line of sight of the NPC. Thief gave us the ability to become invisible within shadows, which is enthralling to me. The audio of the game, during it's time, was absolutely fantastic. If you played the game as much as I did, you were calling your friends "taffers" by accident. Thief's overall feel and atmosphere that it gives off with the graphics/animation, the pseudo-medieval architecture, the audio, ambient noises, etc... makes it a gaming phenomenon. The Thief series is what has given me my love for our currently practically non-existent stealth/action genre today.

You should check out Battlefield on the PC.

I don't even know what the story in Half-Life 2 is. You run away from a controlled city and then just shoot people. I mean, I could have missed something, but it doesn't seem like there is much story at all. No, I haven't played the first Half-Life.
