Favorite game of 2009 so far?

Hey everybody, just checking with you guys what your favorite game of the year is so far, since there have already been some really good releases. My favorite so far is Street Fighter 4. I also really enjoyed infamous, and RE5.

- The PC release of Braid

- Plants vs. Zombies

- Street Fighter IV

...perhaps even in that order.

I also forgot to mention Killzone 2, and BlazBlue:)

Probably Street Fighter IV, but what epic games have there been so far? Not many come to mind... Resident Evil 5 was good but nothing exceptional and Killzone 2 is pretty but nothing too groundbreaking IMO. Hmmm...

I haven't played inFamous yet, but it looks very promising.

Don't laugh, but i have no games from 09. I'm to cheap.bronxxbombers

its ok. I almost got nothing this year becuz most of the stuff i saw was kinda bad and i was low on cash. thank god i got a raise -.-;;

A toss up between KillZone2 or inFAMOUS. But probably infamous, i LOVED the open-world design to it. Am gonna play the evil-side mode now to see what happens differently in the end

inFamous and CoJ:BiB. I really can't choose. They're both too darn cool.

Only game I bought was Empire Total War. Still a tad to bugy and fixing procwess is slow :x

The great games from Nintendo haven't arrived yet.

But I know Tatsunoko Vs. Capcom is going to blow them all out of the water for me.

Kinda burnt out on it now, but Infamous is brilliant and definitely my favourite game so far this year.

I don't own the game, but Red Faction: Guerrilla. (played it at a friends)

I've only played 4 released in 2009: Resident Evil 5, Guitar Hero: Metallica, Prototype, and Overlord 2. Of those 4, I would say I liked Prototype the best.

Also, it's not [Prototype], it's just Prototype. I bet you're the same people that write HALO instead of Halo.

Its a heck of a lot of fun and I had written it off completely since I disliked Saint's Row 2 so much. I probably should mention that it's one of only five games from '09 that I've played. Halo Wars, Afro Samurai, Bionic Commando and Wolverine are the others. Not exactly facing stiff competition.

Like, honestly, nothing this year had me go WOW while playing it.

And I played quite a few 'toppers'.

Pretty depressing. :cry:

Street Fighter IV is without a doubt my favorite game this year. We'll see if it holds out til the end of the year but I honestly don't see anything else dethroning it.

Gears 2 and Fallout 3

SFIV so far. Haven't really bought many newer games.

I do have BlazBlue and Devil Survivor on the way though. Highly looking forward to those 2 games.

I dont know but when my Yakuza 3 and Shin migami tenshi Devil survior arrive, They look promising but so far id have to say Phantasy star portable orGhostbusters

None yet. Im still waiting for Tekken 6
