What is your favorite version of Mario Kart? For me it would be Mario Kart DS. Excellent control, good level design, not too easy but can be very difficult and cheap at times.

Mario Kart DS for the single player aspect. Mario Kart Wii is the most fun to play with other people though.

I absolutely loved Mario Kart Double Dash. Being able to choose two characters and each has their own special move. Plus the debut of Diddy Kong to Mario Kart :)

It's a tie between MKDS and MKWII.

If I want to play by myself, It's mario kart DS, but mario kart wii is great with other people

If i had one ds game, it would be Mariokart ds. Good handling and control. But sometimes it's cheap and annoying.
