I had 2 and 3 and 2 was the only one I completed. I believe I was frustrated by some of the final parts of 3 and never really bothered with it after that
MegaMan 1.
It was the only one I had although I have completed 2 and 3, and am currently playing 4.
MegaMan 1 was brutally hard, but I had played it so many times that I did eventually beat it on the NES. It was an amazing game.
I know that most people would say it would be between 2 or 3, but I'm the one guy,so far at least, that voted for 4. It was the first fully developed mega man game before it went a little too crazy on nes(5&6) I honestly haven't played too many nes mega man games in a long time, mostly playing 9. It really bothers me that I don't slide or have a charge shot. Ijust find that this was the best blend of new and old.
Mega Man 1 and Mega 2. After that, Capcom started cluttering the games with unneeded and tedious extras. I did like Mega Man 6,though,which I would rank just below 1 and 2.
Mega Man 3 was my all time favorite. I loved that the robots from mega man 2 make a return at the end of game
I never actually played any of them :( They were before my time. Is there a way to play them now?jrabbit99There's the Mega Man Anniversary Collection released for PS2, XBox, and Gamecube. It includes all 8 console released games in the original Mega Man series. That includes the 6 mentioned here for the NES, #7 for the SNES, and #8 for the PS1. It even includes a couple games that were previously only released in Japan, fully tranlated to English. There's also a Mega Man X collection, but that wasn't released for XBox. No Japanese extras on this one, but who cares, this has Mega Man X 1-6. The first 3 were originally realeased on SNES, the latter 3 were released for PS1/Sega Saturn. -Nate-

But as far as I know, they only have Mega Man 1-3 out now.
