Favorite NES Games ?

The NES games were a big part of my life a long time ago. I still play some of the games through. The good old NES days were the best !

So I was wondering, what's your top 3 in NES games ? To me, the top 3 looks like this :

1. The Flintstones TAS - This is a 13-14 minute speedrun, that shows off the game with most of it's aspects.

2. Tiny Toon Adventures - This is another speedrun showcase. It's about 10-11 minutes game footage.

3. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 - This is a video with 45 minute footage of the game.

Battle city and Contra are my 2 most favourite games on NES especially because of their co op mode

The others are Ninja Gaiden and Super Mario Bros

I like this 3:Metroid,Punch Out!!! and Rad Racer.

Any Mario, Mega Man 1, Dragon Warrior, Dragon Power, TMNT, and The Legend of Zelda. Final Fantasy was great but for me, it wasn't one of the best. :?

I'm mostly an RPG gamer, so my list is very genre specific......

My top 3 would probably consist of:

1. Super Mario Bros. 3 - a timeless platformer and one of the greatest games ever still.

2. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - even if I played it with a Game Genie all the time, it was difficult and fun at the same time.

3. Faxanadu - a very awkward yet atmospheric sidescrolling RPG I still have to finish some day.

My top 3 are; MegaMan 2, Ninja Gaiden and The Legend of Zelda.

I feel weird saying Bubble Bobble was my favorite :oops:

3. Donkey Kong Country

Good times :)

Contra and SMB 2 & 3. Legend of Zelda, although i never beat it. TMNT, as hard as it was.
