What's your guys' favorite Nintendo 64 games? Mine are probably Smash Bros, Super Mario 64, and there's a Kirby game I just can't remember what it's called.:P

Banjo Kazooie is a great game. I'm wondering because there's this store in my town and they sell old games and systems and I want to know what games are worth it.
Yeah Crystal Shards that was the Kirby game. Yeah I like playing on the original system then getting it on XB arcade.
-Spider-Man - Awesome web-slinging mechanics, and great little Easter Eggs for comic fans -Resident Evil 2 - The best game in the series, IMO, and the only entry to receive N64 treatment. -Paper Mario - An awesome and fun little RPG based off of the Mario series. -Hexen - An old-school first-person shooter like Doom or Quake, but instead set in a fantasy-setting. -Goldeneye: 007 - The first great multiplayer first-person shooter, IMO. -Jet Force Gemini - A fun little platformer/3rd-person shooter that was overlooked by many. -Doom 64 - Basically this is Doom 2.5. It's an entirely new Doom game, and many gamers don't even realize this!Emerald_Warrior
You guys made me remember some games.
-Legend of Zelda (I have Ocarina of time)
-Goldeneye (I have this)
-Paper Mario (I also have this.)
Yeah my uncle gave me his 64 a few years back and it came with some apparently really popular games.

Mario 64
Mario Kart 64
Lylat Wars
F-Zero X
Wave Race 64 (retrospective addition - only got into it on the virtual console)
Honourable mention would go to Blast Corps, Diddy Kong Racing, ISS 64, multiplayer on Goldeneye etc. I only played about 2 hours of Majoras Mask and 5 hours of Ocarina of Time so can't really include either of those in my list.
Perfect Dark
Goldeneye
Mario 64
F-Zero X
Turok 1 & 2
Mario Kart 64
Donkey Kong 64
Lylat Wars (Starfox 64) Why did they change the name for the european release? Lylat Wars sounds crap.
Killer Instinct Gold
Zelda OoT
Banjo Kazooie
In order:
Mario Kart 64
Star Fox 64
Rush 2
Super Mario 64
Mario Golf
Banjo-Kazooie/Banjo Tooie
Super Smash Bros
Goldeneye
Glover
Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire
Gex 64: Enter the Gecko
Dark Rift
Castlevania (64)
Perfect Dark
Did I mention Mario Kart... Yes? Well, screw you, the game is a masterpiece.
Both Zelda games
Pilotwings 64
Mario Tennis
Harvest Moon 64(still the best in the series IMO)
Starfox 64
Mega Man Legends...not really a great game, but I have a soft spot for it.
1. Donkey Kong 64
2. Majora's Mask
3. Jet Force Gemini
Other games are good but I don't like them so much.
10. Pokemon Stadium
9. Super Mario 64
8. Star Fox 64/Lylat Wars
7. Pokemon Stadium 2
6. Zelda: Majora's Mask
5. Gauntlet: Legends
4. Star Wars: Rogue Squadron
3. Goldeneye
2. Perfect Dark
1. Zelda: Ocarina of Time

Most of those don't hold up that well. Any FPS game on the N64 struggles due to performance and control mechanism. I can still play Goldeneye and maybe one of t-he Turoks, but other than that--and even back in the day--the sub 20 frames per second w/one analog just didn't work well. Same goes for Jet Force--the game performs pretty bad. On paper a good game, but the technicality behind the game actually gets in the way of what the gameplay sets out to do. That is my biggest beaf with developers--when they sacrifce the games performance to push every last higher resolution pixel.
Paper Mario is great though.
Diddy Kong Racing is AMAZING. I have to say it is mario kart but better. So much more responsive with tight controls and a great story mode.

This^ I couldn't stand Goldeneye around when it came out, it was a good idea, but it played terribly to me even then.Majora's Mask, Ocarina, Mario Party 2 and 3 (my friends and I used to play them all the time.) I didn't play a ton on N64, not as much as Gamecube or Wii. Also Paper Mario.

What are you talking about? The fact that I think 007 is the first great multiplayer FPS? Are you reading that line with the "great" part taken out? Because if I said "The first multiplayer first-person shooter" without the "great" in there, then I'd see your point. Now read it again with the "great" in there.
Or are you talking about Resident Evil 2 being my favorite in the series? Cuase yeah, that's an opinion alright and one I'm not changing.
Compared to the terrible shovelware on the N64 automatically making these the best games on the system?Ocarina of Time and Mario 64 are genius.
chocolate1325
1. Sin & Punishment
2. Bangai-O
3. Mischief Makers
4. Star Fox 64
...I'd make a top 10 list but those are the only N64 games I truly enjoyed playing.
Super Mario 64
Super Smash Bros
theLegend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
the Legend of Zelda: Majoras Mask
Lylat Wars (Star Fox 64)
