Favorite Nostalgia moments/music

man tell somethin that is great about the good ole days of gaming. It could be any system i dont care.
One thing that always gets me for nostalgia is when i'm playin blades of steel and baseball stars for the nes. Man those were the best sports games ever!

Plus the baseball stars music...that is just epic. In fact i'm kinda hummin it right now lol.

Zelda Psone Final Fantasy IX Silent Hill those are mine

Any songs from Oblivion remind me of the summer where I never went outside. I loved that summer.

I guess not many people are getting that nostalgic feeling lol.

The ole metroid theme also reminds me of good times. When i go to my grandparents house when they had the nes. When my uncle showed me the Justin bailey code. When i had no idea what i was doing and was lost no matter where i went. and the music...ah good times.

Liquid: "Impressive!! You are indeed worthy of the codename Fox, but now YOU'RE FINISHED!!"

Gray Fox: "Now!! Fire the stinger!!"

Liquid: "Can you really shoot!? You'll kill him too!!"

I'll never forget that.

The intro theme to Chrono Cross always gets me goin'. That intro cutscene blew me away when it came out; it was the reason I went out and bought a PlayStation even though I had never even considered playing anything but Nintendo. Probably the best intro music to any game ever.

I'd have to go with:

• Finding the name of a game I'd lost for most of my life but was my favourite NES game as a kid, StarTropics. Now I just need a working copy.
• Hearing the Overworld themes in Zelda LttP after getting it for the second time. As a kid I got a used copy, turned out to be a French translation. I couldn't read it but still played. Everytime I play it now I remember that.
• Every boss battle in MGS, they've just stuck with me more than most others.

Man how is it possible that hardly anybody here has a sense of nostalgia? lol

Every time I hear the song of time I remember the first time I placed the three emerald thingys (you know what I'm talking about) in the temple of time. The cutscene that at the time was unbelievable and is still breathtaking, the epic 7 year transition, all of it.pjacobson21

i can picture it right now...... me, my cousins, all of us playing mario kart 64 on the track "rainbow road" listening to the perfect music and having the time of our lives. man i miss those days so very much.

if my fav nostalgia time wasn't mario kart then it would have to be a four player round of super smash bros melee. i must've played that game for hundereds of hours

That was some awesome music right there. Personally my fave DKC musicwas the miner car levels.
Oh man one of the best times of my life came with punch-out though. (with little mac of course)

Finally got to see tyson and got owned, then showed off to my friends and got owned again lol. But man that is the best boxing theme music ever
