Favorite "Sound" in Gaming?

Probably a strange topic title, so i'll elborate.

What is your favorite gaming noise or sound?

Mine are the original Playstation start up sound. the Achivement sound.

And of course, the Killzone 2 MP kill sound.

The 'you completed a task/puzzle and unsealed a door' in the Legend of Zelda games!

The sound the carbine in HL2 make when they die... flat line.Too_tight_shoes

Didn't spend too much time with Half Life, couldn't get into it.

You cant go wrong with the "Achievement Unlocked" sound.

This may be all nostalgia speaking, but I've always liked:

• that booming bass from when you first turn on the PS1.
• That "bling" sound when Mario gets a coin.
• The groans from a unnoticed Big Daddy is terrifying
• The Alert sound from MGS.
• The wining theme after a FFVII battle.

Lara Croft's "aha" in each item pick up in TR2, my first steps in PC gameing ^^ ( i was Amiga user before)

Dinging in WOW or when you level for the layman.

gears and cod4 headshot sound are my fav

Its a tie between the Metal Gear "!" and the extra man sound when you collect 100 coins in most mario games. :P

Lets see.....I've always been partial to a few gaming sounds that bring back good memories. Like turning on my Sega Saturn or Dreamcast (when the logos come up). The fatality sound in Mortal Kombat is always a fav. Hmmmmm.......what else. Oh, also the jingle after you defeat a Mega Man boss. There are probably many others that I'm missing, but those are definitely my noteworthy ones.
