Favorite scene from a video game.

Like the title says what is your favorite scene from a video game from ANY of the past generations of consoles.By scene I mean cutscene or actual part of a game that left you feeling just plain awesome.Here are some of mine.

• The Ending of FFIX
• The suprising ending of XIII
• Finding your sister in Fable
• The Final Boss of Doom 3
• The boss on the airship in FFX
• Theclub sceneof Conkers live and reloaded.
• Flying around with the winged cap in super mario 64
• Riding my horse around in Zelda OOT
• The ending of Zelda OOT
• Sailing my boat in Zelda Windwaker
• The ending of zelda windwaker
• The fight with that giant bird in windwaker.

Those are some of the ones I can think of right now.What are some of yours?

I mean, Ganondorf turns into stone, even his blades turn into stone. honorable mention goes to the end of MGS3 and MGS4 [spoiler] finding out Big Boss is alive [/spoiler] Cesar_Barba

I likes the ending of R2, many of the scens in MGs4 with Raiden, Star Wars Kotor the first one where you find out the dark secret lol.

Mine is the knife fight between Leon and Krauser. Also, the last boss battle in God Of War II. (it was so brutal! lol)

metal gear solid intro on ps.

There's thousands of great scenes I can think of. One of these was when when I flew to the sky at the end of Medal of Honor: Frontline. It was so awesome that I shouted of joy!

Facing the Cyberdemon for the first time in Doom.
They didn't mention it in the instruction manual so that was a fright for the first time.

In Soul Calibur 2 , the scene when Maxi fight vs Astharot

The opening for FFVIII and Chrono Cross, the stabbing of Kid and transformation scenes in Chrono Cross, the recovery of Cloud from the lifestream in FFVII, and basically any serious scene from FFIX.

There is a rumor about PSP price drop for this year. Also, the PSP has a huge list of games and features which are gonna be available this year. Wait till E3.

-Mario destroying the castles after beating a Koopa Kid in Super Mario World

-Introduction scene in Super Metroid

The intro scene to Digimon World (PS). They're battling with digivices. 8)

i like the scene in super metroid where u have to battle the big brain which took a really long time for me to get to but i like it. and the one in mgs3 where snake killed big boss and all the cut scenes from there on!!!

Can I count the Cybil boss fight in the original Silent Hill?

I really like the ending to Dino Crisis, the one where they escape in the hovercraft and Regina tosses the detonator into the T-Rex's mouth. Great scene. I also love the scene in Parasite Eve towards the end, when Daniel jumps out of the helicopter, catches ablaze, and throws the ammo to Aya.

Celes's suicide attempt (Final Fantasy VI), Lirum's death and after the funeral, or any scene starring Cooke and Mack (Lost Odyssey), Rose sacrifices her life for Reinhardt against Death - Carrie vs Actrise (both Castlevania 64 and Legacy of Darkness).....just a few not mentioned....

The scenes i would choose would be

MGS3- "There's only room for one Boss, and one Snake."

Zelda Ocarina of time - First time link pulls the master sword, and the first time you set foot in Hyrule field

MGS4 - Final Ending

FF7 - Sephiroth Burns Nibelheim and goes berserk, and when he slaughters everyone in the shinra HQ

Bionic commando - the leaders head explodes

Mario Galaxy - Bowser roars in anger because his dream of a new galaxy is destroyed as well as the planet hes on.

Halo 2 the chief gives the covenant back there bomb

and ff8 opening sequence

The final part of the ending to Metal Gear Solid 3: [spoiler] From Naked Snake going to receive his reward to him saluting The Boss's grave [/spoiler] That scene was incredibly well made.

The opening cutscene to Devil May Cry 3: It's what you get when you take greatness, pour some awesome into it, then sprinkle it with some ass kicking.

Kingdom Hearts 2: I remember playing through the 5 hour Roxas introduction and finishing that I was just amazed at how good it was set out and how immersive the story was. When I completed that part I just said to myself "wow." The ending also had a massive impact on me. In fact, I started to cry :lol:

You cant go wrong with the scene in Final Fantasy IX where the Invincible tries to enter Memoria, only to be greeted by more Nova Dragons then you can count. At that moment nearly every airship in the world of Gaia comes out of nowhere and lays waste to pretty much every Nova Dragon in the area, allowing the Invincible to enter

Alot of the cutscenes from any of the Metal Gear Solid games are just awesome.

Opening to CoD4 when the president gets assassinated...and I suppose when the nuke goes off...

The ending of MGS3 killed me. I definitely agree with you there. And you probably should've put the Windwaker ending as a spoiler too.
