Favorite Wrestling Game of All Time

For me its between 2:

Wrestlefest (arcade) which was the first game i fell in love with, amazing game, great roster, awesome gameplay

and No Mercy (n64) played this game 100's and 100's of hours. great roster, probably the best gameplay of any wrestling game imo, good modes, very addicting for me. I wish they would have just used this engine and just updated the rosters and gameplay modes and made more games like this, it would be awesome

I was never a big WCW fan,, but I enjoyed this game.

No Mercy. I used to love the Royal Rumble mode, the career mode, the Vs mode, the shop, but most of all I spent so much time in the create a wrestler mode. I haven't seen too many games as in depth as that one. I used to be real upset though because the instruction manual had these modes and opltions that weren't in the final game and I felt cheated from that. Worst instruction manual I've ever seen.

thats an exelent point i forgot to mention the caw. i went crazy with that, i made tons of wrestlers. i made one in every possible slot, even in the alternate costum slots of the wrestlers in the game i probably have about 150-200 caws in the game and i only kept ones that really looked like the wrestler so basically i tripled the roster of the game, its sweet

well wierd , i just got done playing , wrestlemania xix, its revenge mode is funny lol , 2009 is the best one,

with out a doubt ive played every wrestling game except the 2 ps1 ones, of sd series, and ecw hardcore evolution also wcw vs nwo wrestelmania 21 xb

x8 gc attitude n64 shut your mouth n64 and wcw revenge n64, i also have super wrestlemania snes and royale rumble snes so it was hard to choose

the earlier games snes are suprisin, the graphics for its time, i thought it be stick figures like in nes , era , mosto f the games where, but this actually suprised me, undertaker and ric flair are good in that game but wwe 2009 is way way better, ortons punt cenas slam , and everything else about it is fun ,

*Undertaker's Big Bike (It's actually near the ring! In HCTP it's not there at all)

I grew up in the "Arcade Age" of the 1980's and 1990's, but I was never a fan of the arcades. I always preferred games on my home consoles. But, there is an exception to this. I'm was and am a huge (old-school) wrestling fan, and by far my all-time favorite wrestling games are from the arcade.

1) WWF Wrestlefest : Had wrestlers like "Demolition's Crush & Smash" which was great, but it always bugged me that "Ax" was left out. :( It also had tons of great wrestlers like "Ultimate Warrior", "Legion of Doom", "Hulk Hogan", etc. To this day, anytime I see this arcade machine, I spend hours playing that game. Man, I miss the old days of wrestling and videogames. Not that today's videogames and wrestling aren't good, they're just not the same.

2) WWF Wrestlemania : It only had like 8 or 9 wrestlers. But at the time, it was way better than any wrestling game on the home consoles. Honestly, I absolutely loved this game, and home to one day find a cabinet to put in my apartment. Loved using "The Honkey Tonk Man" or "The Million Dollar Man Ted Dibiase".

On the consoles, I'd say my favorite wrestling game would be "WWF Attitude" for the N64. I use to love the Royal Rumble matches specifically. But it was disappointing that when I ended up getting a copy for the Playstation, they took out the Royal Rumble match. Seriously, WTH?

I was never a big WCW fan,, but I enjoyed this game.
