Favourite Scene in a Game

Just like the title says, what is your favourite scene. What has made your jaw drop over years or yell out HOLY SWEET MOTHER OF ALL THINGS GOOD AND PURE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I personally found the scene in Final Fantasy IX where all the airships came to your aid to fight off the Silver Dragons when you are trying to enter Memoria.

The opening scene to Mass effect 2..When they bring shepherd back..What a epic beginning...Great game all the way through..

Thanks for sharing that mechwarrior 2 game-play..Isnt it amazing how it still holds its own after all these years..Mechwarrior games shouldve never died, im glade there resurecting the genre..Making a new mech game cant wait till they finish that..Remember the swivel joystick we used to have to buy to play it..Those where joy sticks..It used to twist to turn your mech..Man they dont make joy sticks like they used to back in the day...

It would take me a while to go through ALL the games I've played to really think about that, but right off the top of my head, my most memorable scene in gaming would have to be when Steve dies in Resident Evil: Code Veronica. That and the ending to Final Fantasy X. I can't help but admit that bBoth of those scenes hit the heart.

I don't think I've yelled out, but I definitely have some favorite scenes in games throughout my time playing them. Here they are, in no particular order.

1. The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. The part when you're kid Link and you go and put the Master Sword in its pedestal for the first time. A glowing flow of energy lights up around Link and a top-view camera moves fast away from him. It's just cool.

2. Splinter Cell: Conviction. The ending at the White House.

The ending of Half-Life 2: Episode Two.

The intro to Half-Life.

The whole Psycho Mantis chapter in Metal Gear Solid.

The beginning sequence of Bioshock.

The brilliantly concealed plot twist of Bioshock was jaw-dropping :D

The second is when basically the ending to MGS4, seeing Snake crawl through the microwave thing made me sad lol.
