I like both final fantasy and zelda. I agree with 7cloudstrife7 those two series are not even similar at all. Each series are really good it is hard to choice which one is better.

Zelda is my favorite series ever. Final Fantasy is among my top 5. They're both great.

You do realize that the first half of the Final Fantasy series was on Nintendo consoles? I'm guessing the topic creator is talking each series collectively, not just individual games like Wind Waker and Twilight Princess vs. Final Fantasy X and XII.
well it would all depend on what ff games you are talking about compared to what zelda games you are talking about.....but overall, Zelda has been a much stronger series....FF has been so hit and miss especially with the more recent games, X-XII.... but Zelda has continued to be consistent since its' beginning
You can't really compare the 2 since they are different genres. They are both great series.
BTW, being consistent isn't always a virtue. Taking chances and presenting a variety of gameplay mechanics, even when its not totally successful, is a good thing too.
