Finished a game without playing something else inbetween?

From what I can remember only games I've played right through to the end without playing something else inbetween are;

Mario 1

MGS1

GTA San Andreas

Mass effect1

Deus ex invisible war

What games if any captivated you?

Every Game I play I see it through to the end... The obvious Exceptions are President Evil 4 and 6.

Oh and LA Noire and Portal 2 and The Testament of Sherlock Holmes... Basicly any Puzzle game. But all other genres I see'em through one at a time.

Almost every game I pick up I play til the end without playing anything in-between. I get too invested in the game I am currently playing to go play something else.

@behardy24: so you must be easily pleased when it comes to games, or you seriously research a game b4 you buy and you don't by another game till you have finished that one.

The games I currently own are all big games that have high praise, I like to own more wide ranges of games but my wallet doesn't allow that so I tend to more picky in what I chose. I also still have a big backlog both on console and on Steam that I need to get through but time has been limited recently.

Yeah I been hearing that a lot lately, not much time for gaming, to many adult things things that have to be done :)

Usually any new metal gear or grand theft auto. Ni No Kuni and batman Arkham Asylum. However usually I play more than one, but always less than or three. Any more than three you get somewhat confused, any less and I start getting one game overload.

That's generally how I play games. I've been playing Vita games on the side lately, though. But when GTA V came out, for example, that's literally the only game I played for like 6 weeks.

@marcheegsr: I've actually literally just finished dishonoured, sucks you can't play back through the missions with all the weapons and powers you have aquired.

Actually a good game is like a good book. It's hard to put it aside and try to do something else. When I stat playing a new game I'm making a deal with it - I live through the game and put all my soul into it and in return the game gives me a gigantic wave of new emotions and unforgettable experience.

Most games, but definitely Bioshock: Infinite. Played it once, played it again, again, and after a few months am playing it again. It gets me hooked every time, especially now with all the DLC out.

Every Half-Life game.

No One Lives Forever 1 and 2.

Well thats about it I guess. I'm the kind of person who plays at least 3 games at a time. But the above games captured me enough that all I could think about was playing them.

Dark Souls would have also made the list if my save game didn't get corrupt.

That's nice. Cuz playing one game can get boring, even if it's a masterpiece. variety is good :)

If it's a story based game I just play one till I finished it, with the exceptions of playing a multi player game online... My recent one was tomb raider on ps3.. Took about 5 days, but when my mates were online , I would turn it off and play bf4 with them.

Not me. I play a number of games on one sitting. When I get bored on one game (Say Eclipse War Online), I play another game (most of the time it's NBA 2K14).

Since i don't have concentration disorder i play a game to the end before going on to a new game, and i obviously dont play most games unless its a WD in one go.

Most games. In some cases it forces me to finish games that I otherwise would never finish.

if a games really short like 6 hrs or less and its addictive i'll usually play it all the way through without playing other games. Usually i have a couple on the go to prevent myself from overplaying a single game which could ruin its fun.

i usually go that route myself, because i can get tired or take the fun out of it if i feel like it's a chore

@The_Last_Ride: I must say most of those games are pretty addictive, I say most because few of the games you mentioned I haven't played.

Well, the time I spent on GTA V was pretty much split between SP and MP. I basically did everything I had to do to get all the trophies. The online was okay, but it's not something I really plan on returning to just for fun. I'd love to return to the single player, though... still waiting for news on some single player DLC.

That's why i have stayed with those games and just played those. I might have played other games like that, but those are the ones i could remember
