What was the first game you ever hated? For me, it was Gex 64. Stupid quip after stupid quip, really bad controls, and graphics that made StarFox (the SNES one) feel superior.
Perfect Dark for the N64. I was around 5 at the time, and I couldn't understand any of it. I ended up playing against some bots or something for a round, and then never played it again.
The first Metal Gear Solid. I was 8 when I tried it and completely hated it, probably because I have no idea what's going on. But fortunately, I decided to try it again recently and bought MGS: The Essential Collection, and I loved it.
I don't remember very many bad games; I guess, the worst game I remember off hand is CONTRACT Jack. I loved NOLF 2, but the sequel was terrible. I remember quitting after about an hours. Also, there was an interesting game, I don't remember the name of it, but David Duchovny did the voice over; the visuals were interesting, but the gameplay was terrible.

Well, I'm a little older than some and grew up in the 8-bit era... first game that I completely and utterly loathed was a game called Air Wolf, based off of the 80's tv series.
Super Mario Land for the GB. I wasn't the greatest gamer back then...I probably didn't even know what a "gamer" was since I was so much younger, BUT, try playing a game that takes longer to beat than your system has battery power and you'd probably hate the game too.
Superman on the NES, it was a joke how the characters look, i was really dissapointed, i was expecting something like the arcade game (well, i was like 7)
Oddly enough I hated this game too even though most people keep singing praises about it. When I bought my Dreamcast and it included this game... sold it first chance I got.

Hey, that's still pretty old. Ask a kid today if they can blow on your cartridge. They'll probably call the cops, not knowing that us old folks used to play our games with these ancient bricks that stuck out of the system.

Yea, back when game companies advertised their consoles with numbers and gimmicky tricks (blast processing was a bunch of crap, but at least Mode 7 was actually there).

Its hard to think back to the NES days and not remember the great games instead of the bad ones. When I think back to my NES lovin days I remember A Boy And His Blob, Ninja Gaiden, Megaman, Dragon Warrior, Final Fantasy...etc. Oh ohohohohohohoh Now I got it. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. :x Before that though it would probably be ET. I got that POS as a birthday present IIIRC :( To this day there is nothing I hate more than games based off movies :x
2 votes for perfect dark??? Really??? I loved that game.. Spent many dedicated hours playing it!! But i hated pit-fighter on snes.. It was an average arcade game but was completely garbage on SNES

No, I didn't started yesterday and no I do not only play those games. But yes, I can recognize a crap game when I play it, No More Heroes is one of them :)
