Looks cool...:D
That's definitely not Zelda. A Zora princess? Another princess from the twilight world?
Looks more mature and still has that dark look.
Can't wait to see more!

The girl is definitely gonna be his "sword". She is juxtaposed "on" his back. Legs have hilt pattern. Diamond on center consistent with other sword designs in the Zelda series. Head looks like the tip of a sword.
I'm hoping its not another TP themed Zelda. I guess all 3D Zelda games have to have at least 2 games that take place in the same time period/place such as OoT/MM, WW/PH, and now TP and this new Zelda. I just want this Zelda to be much more difficult and less predictable in its dungeon scheme. Also, can we have a 3D zelda without Z targeting? Is that too much to ask?
I don't see why anyone should particularly desire to have or not have automatic targeting. It's proved to be, much like the alternative, a very workable design scheme.I'm hoping its not another TP themed Zelda. Workable, yes. Interesting and fun, no. It's honestly a boring mechanic that's been done to death. I can't see why many people are still interested in that type of game mechanic. It isn't 3D Mario caliber that it can withstand the test of time. For me, this game mechanic hasn't aged well and I'm sorry, I honestly think it hinders the series progression to change and develop into something more intuitive, fun, different, and creative.
I also remember that Miyamoto also said that TP would be the last traditional Zelda. I don't know if that statement referred to the stale DS versions of the series but I'd like to think that he was referring to the console Zelda's. As cool as the theory about the woman being a sword is, I still think that this new console Zelda will play like any other generic 3D offering from the series.
Until I see concrete evidence that proves that the series is ready to evolve, which it need to do badly in my opinion, I'm going to feel very reserved and skeptical about the next console Zelda. I know I'm asking much from a concept art but after sitting through 3 generations of 3D Zelda's and losing my interest with each offering, I feel obligated as a fan to want a rejuvenation of the series.
[QUOTE="AAllxxjjnn"]Thats a cool theory. In his interview Miyamoto made a point to mention notice that Link has no sword. Also this game as nothing to do with TP, its a new storyline. Link looks like Link to me.The girl is definitely gonna be his "sword". She is juxtaposed "on" his back. Legs have hilt pattern. Diamond on center consistent with other sword designs in the Zelda series. Head looks like the tip of a sword.

It is indeed. And honestly, I remember from way back in the early days of Twilight Princess announcements that the same sort of thing was speculated about the character that eventually became Midna. Of course, that did not turn out to be the case (i.e. Midna was not Link's sword outside of the Twilight Realm), but there was definitely some speculation on it around that time, and I believe that speculation came from Miyamoto.
This could every well be an idea that was intended for Twilight Princess but discarded. I think it's a good idea, so I'd like to see it happen.

I actually think the series has evolved just fine. If by "evolve", it ends up being something that I don't recognize as Zelda, then you can consider me the video gamer equivalent of a firm creationist.
Can Nintendo ever mix it up for a change?
It's called Zelda, not Green Clothed Link Rescues Princess Zelda.
How about make Zelda main character, and this time she is not a princess but a farm girl and she has to rescue prince Link?
How about give Link different clothing for a change? Is red too bright for him?
thats actually very insightful. got the jewel like on the mastersword too. *SPOILER* probably is some character who turns into a sword, much like how your ship talks to you in windwaker then turns out to be the king. The girl is definitely gonna be his "sword". She is juxtaposed "on" his back. Legs have hilt pattern. Diamond on center consistent with other sword designs in the Zelda series. Head looks like the tip of a sword.

I hope this new Zelda game gets a whole new makeover. The last Zelda game looked severely outdated and ugly, especially when compared to WW, which still looks easy on the eyes.
That girl in the pic could certainly be Link's sword. The girl and Master sword do share some uncanny similarities.
As for Z-targeting, I am fine with it. It has never ruined the experience of any of the 3D Zeldas, and I think it is cool to see this new Zelda game use the twilight princess look, as well.
The only complaints I have ever really had about any of the 3D zeldas is that they are all too easy, so if they were to up the difficulty a bit, I would be pleased. It doesn't have to be increased too much, just increased enough so I'm not plowing through all enemies later in the game with ease.
that girl is either
A. the great fairy queen from wind waker
or
B. The master sword in spirit/human form.
But if the master sword was a chick all this time...wouldn't it be called the mistress sword?
Woah, when I read the theory of the girl being the "sword" you span me out! I am very willing to see some gameplay mechanics of the next new real Wii Zelda.
It's obvious that she's the Master Sword. Miyamoto himself hinted at it in an interview, and the signs are obvious. The green lacing on her legs matches perfectly with the handle of the sword.that girl is either

With that in mind, I think this game will be very close to the beginning of the Zelda timeline, explaining the background of the Master Sword the way the Minish Cap told the backstory of Link's clothing.
