I started with the NES and i just love video games in general, so i really don´t care about graphics and i am able to enjoy most old school games i play. But lets face it, sometimes, games get old.

I came up with this because recently i´ve been hunting some old school hidden gems RPGs and started playing Breath of Fire 4 for the PS1 and... the game is solid, battle is fun, but my god, the jurassic camera controls makes it almost unplayable.

What games you guys consider great, but have outdated points that affect the actual playability?

I never really had any interest in Resident Evil, I have to be honest. And there are a lot of amazing classic games that hold up well. But saying the original Resident Evil isn't outdated? That's pushing it.

Maybe i will have to run for my life after posting this but... a great game i fell really outdated is FFVII. Has not aged well AT ALL, sadly.

On the other hand, i played and finished FF VI and IX recently and they hold up really well, had a great time!

Why would you run for your life? FFVII is a pretty popular game to bash these days...

I would say Doom it shootouts are no where as good as current shooters.
