For being one of the few few few parkour games Mirrors Edge provided constant fun for me. Sure there were a few repetative parts, and EA could have made smarter design choice...but in all this game deservs a bit more credit then its getting.

I think its great. A real original concept, great artistic design, incredible soundtrack, cool animated cutscenes, and you get to kick a guy out of a helicopter.

I'm picking this game up soon. I enjoyed the demo, and it seems like a good break from all the RPGs I have to finish.

It's a great game and imo, it's by far the best looking game of 2008. The aesthetic and general look are flawless. That said, it's a weird game in that, though it's not very hard persay, it's certainly the most frustrating game i've played in 2008, and i played through Ninja Gaiden 2. You really do die a lot trying to figure out what the hell you're supposed to do, which also kind of breaks up the game. Still really good though. That said, I don't recommend drinking while playing it....man that was a bad idea.

I dont really get this idea that its hard to find out where to go. Personally i only had trouble on the Factory level when you have to drop down through the ceiling to get passed a locked door, but thats nothing compared to most 3D platformers. Everything else was good if only the game was longer but its still in my top ten games i played in 08.

I am so pleased to see other gamers enjoying this gem. I was so underhyped going into this title due to pretty poor (if not average) reviews, but was so blown away. It was the only games in months that I replayed on hard. It was just so tight and fun. I went to the very last mission not shooting anyone (a hard task) but then accidently blew it haha, I was so mad. I'm surprised my controller lived through it!

Mirror's Edge is probably a good game just like Portal. But I would not pay $60 for Portal because of just how short it is and how little of replay. I believe Mirror's Edge is an excellent game but I just convince myself it's worth the full $60.

lol, yeah. it's a well made title, not perfect, but i didn't regret buying it on the first day of release. It just suffered slightly from the hype it got.

For what its worth, Mirror's Edge is an amazing game. There could have been a lot more to the story but I thought every minute of it was pure awesome. Despite having mounds of homework to do the week I got it, I sat down the night I picked it up and beat it in one nearly 6 hour sitting. I couldn't put it down, it was so adrenaline pumping and exciting... I have yet to experience anything else like it. For what it actually did, the title doesn't get nearly enough praise... a lot of people seem to think it was supposed to be a shooter with parkour elements that focuses on combat, not a parkour simulator with shooting elements that focuses on running and avoiding combat.

I agree if you could push aside the frustration that was all the trial and error it was a nice change of pace from all the generic FPS's out there. No Mirror's Edge is not a FPS, it is a FPR(First Person Runner)

This game worths every penny. Is a nice experience since you don't find a game where you jump around all day. The graphics are good, the soundtrack is good the gameplay is good.

I tried playing by not shooting anybody and avoiding everything, but after dying 100 times I was just like "Screw it, you're all going to die". Then I still died...
