According to an article from Fox News, of all things, it's videogames that are leading to a decrease in natural conservation and awareness for the environment:

Fox news is hilarious.
Videogames are much more harmful to the environment than the gas guzzlers the higher-ups at Fox News drive to work. Someone at Fox News has to be related to a politician in some way.
Indeed, I decide someone should erase fox news from reality.
Really now, I really really love the environment, and I love games at the same time. Fox news has to get a grip and start reporting real news...then again they would probably distort the real news too...
It's an AP story, not a Fox story. Fox just reported it. I think the story is so ridiculously dumb it shouldn't have been reported, but FOX isn't the only agency to report it. CNN.com reported it too.
CNN.com was even nice enough to show a picture of a beautiful national park with the caption "Visits in national parks peaked in 1987 and dropped 23 percent by 2006." And that's because of video games, apparently. This story is like a joke, I feel like I should be reading it out of The Onion.
Well it's true... my generator at home runs on white tiger fur, bald eagle feathers and whale blubber...
That RE4 chainsaw controller and the wii-mote... I actually modded them together to actually work, So while my friend is driving in his huge ass chevy tahoe, I'm playing wii games and actually cutting down trees.
so i guess theyre right
That's an AP article, not Fox News.
EDIT: There are over 100 news sites reporting the same story.

The research article was an AP article.....however the negative bi-line spin focusing solely on videogames was Fox News not to mention it gives a very false impression of what the article is really about.
A majority of other news sources like here, here, here, and here kept the original AP bi-line, which doesn't have the negative spin nor does it specifically single out of videogames in that way that Fox News changed it to.
And this is an example of what Fox News does best....they take information that in original form was truthful in its core information, and then they put a spin on it to fit with their agenda. Researches never said "Video Games May Hurt Nature", and Fox News seems to claim in their bi-line and which singles out videogames and suggests they have a direct negative effect on nature.....what Researchers said was that the rise in home entertainment interests such as tv, videogames, and computers have lead to a decrease in interest in outdoor activities which could lead to a decrease in interest in conservation topics.
Not to mention the spin on this article comes shortly after the whole Mass Effect fiasco with Fox News.
But fox are reporting the news significantly differently. Whilst the Gaudian dosn't even mention games specificaly, Fox runs with the headline: "As video games replace outdoor activity, interest in nature could decline" Maybee a retort to EA's claim that they expect to see more nonsense out of fox news as people tune out of fox and turn on their consolesThat's an AP article, not Fox News.

Every day, something happens that makes me say, "Now I've seen it all."
And the next day, something else happens that makes me realize how wrong I was the day prior.
