Ok I am sure most of you ahve seen a free xbox 360 advertisement online or a ps3 one. I am wondering if you complete the offers do they really send you one? What holds them to that. How am I to prove that they owe me an Xbox or ps3? Are these ads for real or are they gimmicks?

First lesson in Economics: There is no such thing as a free lunch. (... or in your case no such thing as a free console)

Of course it's a gimmick. They lure you in with an ad that say's you get a free system and all you have to do is give them some info. Oh then you have to sign up for at least 3 things. Like books, magazines, free credit cards for people with bad cradit. The list goes on and on. But you have to pick 3 of them and give them you info and a credit card number. Then they'll hit you for more junk and they'll keep telling you you're closer to get your free 360, PS3 or Wii. But you'll never get it and there is no way to prove that they owe you a free system.
