From Last gen (PS2, GCN, Xbox), which games would you call Masterpieces?

I can think offive games in particular

-Pikmin 2

-The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker

-Metroid Prime 2: Echoes

-Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King

-Beyond Good and Evil

Thesefive games were as close to perfect as it got last gen IMO.

FFX, Tales of Symphonia, Halo: CE (just for the amazing multi-player), and Pikmin 1 and 2.

FFX, ToS, and Pikmin 1 and 2 are in my top 10 games ever, and Halo: CE isn't too far removed from that list.

Can I list Dreamcast? :P

Resident Evil : Code Veronica

Depends on what someones definition of classic is. I can tell you that while there were numerous games that prospered in the given era, the only games that have givem me the urge to go back and replay AND enjoy them more than current generation games were Halo 1&2, metal gear 2(3 was too recent, but i've been meaning to play it), and Super Mario Sunshine, which at the time I didn't even think was that great. Go figure. The generation prior to that is more interesting.

Gran Turismo 4 - the depth of gameplay and scale of the whole thing is just awesome.

Draken The Ancient Gates - just a personal favorite. I've played through it about 8 times.

Project Snowblind - still my favorite FPS of all time.

Can I list Dreamcast? :P

Resident Evil : Code Veronica

Sure thing! I wish that I had a Dreamcast to play Code Veronica. Apparently it is one of the bestclas_sic Resident Evil games around. I've alwayspreffered the clas_sic REs to the recent ones. They were more thought prevoking. You really had to strategise and plan out your adventure espicially since you had limited saves.

I remember beating Resident Evil 1 for the first time in just over six hours. I had so much fun that I went through it a second time right after and beat it in an hour and a half. Good times!

metroid prime .. SSBM .. shadow of the collosus are my top 3 from last gen :P ohhh dreamcast is allowed!! chaos field, love that game so so much, and yes i know its on gamecube, but i never played it on the cube :P so theres my fave 4 now
