I found the demo somewhat enjoyable, but come on -- releasing a patch NOW? Hasn't the game already been out for like a month or more? And they go a step further by releasing a patch right AFTER GTA hits? Yeah, sales are gonna pick up, fellas.
I stayed away from it at launch due to how broken I heard the online play (90% of what makes the game by most accounts I've heard) was. If they wanted my money, they should've made sure the game worked when it shipped, because now I've got GTA to play (which is also buggy, but hey! It's a brave new world), which means I may not ever pick up Frontlines at all. There's a small window of opportunity when you're a small, unknown game going up against leviathan. Rule 1: Make sure your game works when it ships. Rule 2: Don't release it anywhere near the leviathan's release date. Rule 3: Make SURE your game works when it ships.
GTA can get away with being buggy because it's GTA. Frontlines couldn't before, and certainly not after, bugs and all.
