I don't see why Square Enix would put XIII and XIII-2 on the 360 just to abandon it with XV. Assuming of course XV won't be a next generation title.
I bought LO for like £4. Thought even if it was really bad the fact it was so cheap would make up for it. But nah it was just too boring. Bearing in mind i dislike JRPG's in general but it was just so boring.
But if you like JRPG's, then its probably a good game or something.

It is a good game. You just didn't give it a total shot. That's all.

No.
I played it for hours.
I'm just not into JRPG's... and nothing really happened.

Nothing really happened.
That's an odd statement to make, but OK.
Plenty happened throughout that game, with a ton of backstory and a unique story itself, you must not have been paying attention at all and just rushing through the gameI bought it, played it, not much happened. Got bored, got rid of it. Not much odd about that.

Exactly. Something DID happen in the game. There's no such as "nothing really happened." Which is why I said it was an odd statement. Plain and simple.

Well i guess it was just a boring story then. I found it to be incredibly dull.
But i have said multiple times i dislike JRPG's anyway.
Lost Odyssey has one of the most interesting story mechanics in gaming with the written letters. It's also one of the most powerfully emotional games of this generation. That being said if you don't like JRPG's you won't the same effect. I'd also like to recommend Eternal Sonata, that game is really underrated because it has an amazing battle system and paces the story well until the very end.
I wish they would stop with the Final Fantasy series.Darth_Siegeis
What possible reason could you have for this wish? Millions of people would be very sad if that happened.

Yeah i see where your coming from, it does make sense that after making 13 on xbox that they would continue it. i just hope they follow through with it and not abandon the 360 and hopefully when the next gen comes out the ps3 and xbox both get every release of the series. i hate worrying about these sort of things lol.

Perhaps, but I can understand what he is asking for. Final Fantasy XIII, along with its sequel, aren't really good RPGs to begin with. Sure, it is like the rest of its brethern in terms of being different, but FFXIII and XIII-2 are no longer the games that I remember them to be. Either they should go retro with FFXV or just kill the series overall, because the magic is no longer there.

Never really got the idea of wanting a franchise to die though. I hate Fable, but there are people that love it, so I don't want it to die based on my own personal opinions.
You shouldn't care that much about future releases when you still have FF V and FF VI to enjoy :D . They're both great games.
If you're that into the genre, another 'old but gold' game is 'Chrono Trigger'. I have it on my Wii (VC), but I'm sure there are other ways to play it (not sure I'm allowed to discuss them here :/ ).
Final Fantasy will stop being a Playstation exclusive, however I think they still might make a game or two only for the Playstation.

Final Fantasy stopped being a Sony-exclusive when we got it on other systems in future titles, such as FFXI and FFXIII.

Now that you mention it, the only Sony-exclusive numbered titles in the series were FF IX and X. It was a Nintendo-exclusive franchise far longer than it was a Sony one. :P

I was going to say that FFVII and FFVIII were also Sony exclusive, then I realized that they were ported to PC, so they don't count. So you are right - FFIX and X are Sony-exclusive. FFXII was also a Sony exclusive as well, since it was only made for PS2.
