Looks like the Kickstarter is going to fail but the team is cozying up to Nintendo so maybe they'll fund the game.CarnageHeartThey said it's part of their stretch goal to put it on Wii U so I doubt that would happen. It's kind of a shame it's not going to get funded.

They're over 800k now, so maybe not. It would be great if surge of last-day supporters pushed it over the goal.

They've jumped up $25,000 in the past few hours, and popular Kickstarter campaigns are always fastest at their starts and ends. I think they'll hit $900,000 easily.
...and here we go, another $25,000 in the past four hours or so. They've only got $50,000 left to go over 22 hours - should be easy enough to do.Planeforger
Yup, looks like they are going to make it.
The additional funding for a Wii U version has also been met. :)
