Game Suggestions for Birthday Gift?!

My boyfriend's birthday is quickly approaching and I would like to buy him a few PS3 games as a gift - the problem is, not being very into video games myself, I have no idea what qualifies as a "good" game.

Games he already has are: Socom Confrontation, Rainbow Six Vegas, Grand Theft Auto IV, Tiger Woods PGA Tour 07, Motor Storm, Rockband, Fight Night Round 3, Assassin's Creed, Madden NFL 07

Can anyone suggest some games he might like, based on the list above?

These are games that would help diversify his library:

Armored Core
Civ 4
Spidey web of shadows
Soul Calibur 4
MGS4

I'd probably go with Armored core, Civ 4 and MGS4..(so had to choose), Spidey WoS if you can.........

However it looks like he enjoys FPS's so he might really enjoy Brothers in Arms Hell's Highway, Call of Duty world at war, Fracture. If you can wait till later this month you might look for the ones below, one is an rpg and the other is racing. He also has a bunch of sports games and he might like blitz 2. Blitz is like football only you get to do all kinds of crazy illegal moves and break people in crazy ways.

I would go with my 3. Having diversity in your collection will make you a much happier hamer than packing it all with one or two genre's. (all FPS or all sports for example)

You would be far better off --------------------------- and then taking him to a gamestop and letting him pick the games himself and then going back home and ---------------------------- and then trying the games out hehehe.
