I bought a second hand Gamecube and Gameboy Player pretty cheap but it didn't come with the boot disk for the Gameboy Player.

From a quick Google search I saw some Gameboy Players being sold with the Gamecube Freeloader.

Just wondering, would the Gamecube Freeloader work as a Boot disk for the Gameboy Player? Theres more of those floating around than spare Gameboy Player disks in PAL format, so it would be a great option.

You need the bootdisk. I actually have 2 GameBoy players. I got the 2nd one for like $5 because it was in much better condition than the one I already had.
